About Us!

 Justin has a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science from UNC Greensboro and a Master's Degree in Adapted Physical Education.  Brittney has a B.A. from Liberty University.  We settled down in an old farmhouse on 34 acres in the heart of Caswell County, North Carolina. In 2017, Brittney's parents built a house about 200 yards away so the grandkids can run back and forth to Grandma's house. We love animals.  We got our start breeding animals by raising chickens and goats, but our real love has always been dogs.  There has never been a time in our life where there wasn't a dog in our family. We have always loved Golden Retrievers and we were blessed to start our program with a Best of Breed winner, Tramin Talamasca (Talley).  A few months after getting Talley, we imported another champion female, Tramin Fishka and finally got our own stud in the fall of 2021 from a breeder in Texas.  His full name is Tramin N'oubliez Jamais but we call him Jim. Through the years we have added more wonderful Tramin champions to our program and have met some wonderful families along the way.  

TRAMIN has over 40 years of breeding program success.  All of their dogs come from champion bloodlines, with many international titles and even a world championship under their belt.

What sets us apart?  For starters, we have top of the line genetics and just the sweetest dogs. We implement the Puppy Culture program with each litter, which includes Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Detection (among other things) but most importantly, with each litters of puppies our 5 kids are very involved from the beginning.  Quite frankly, this is a priceless ingredient that cannot be fabricated and pays huge dividends in terms of the type of adult dog that each puppy has the potential to be. The kids can't wait until the pups are 3 days old (when they are finally allowed to touch them) and they each claim a few from the litter and temporarily adopt them as their own.  They give each puppy a nickname, usually from a sports team or a cartoon that they currently enjoy, and also put a Velcro puppy collar on each one so that they can tell them apart.  We spend quality time with each pup and get them adapted to new experiences, smells and sounds.  By the 8-week mark when it comes time for adoption day, each puppy has been thoroughly handled and is more likely to be ready for whatever challenges that life my bring.  Adoption day is an exciting day but also usually a sad day for the kids.  No matter how many litters we have, the kids still get attached and usually shed a few tears.
